Doreo Is Offering 1 Free Month of Hosting for Our Readers

By Daniel Scocco

The folks from Doreo decide to create a special promotion to the Daily Blog Tips readers. They are offering 1 whole month of free web hosting, so that you can test their service quality without spending a dime. As you know they have been hosting all my websites for a long time, and I don’t plan to move anywhere in the near future.

Why I am a loyal customer? For three main reasons:

  • They have the fastest servers I have seen around (you can test by browsing this site, and keep in mind I don’t use any caching plugin)
  • Almost no downtimes (I think I had 20 minutes of downtime over the past 6 months)
  • Digg-proof servers. I used to be on their smallest shared hosting plan, and it survived almost 10 Digg front pages smoothly

But you don’t need to take my word for good, now you have the opportunity to test it for yourself. Just head to Doreo.com, choose the plan that suits your needs, choose the monthly billing option, and use the promo code dbt1. If you decide to change the billing schedule to quarterly or annual afterward, you will just need to file a support ticket and they will change it for you.

They also offer a 90-days money back guarantee, so even if you stay 2 months and decide to leave, you won’t spend any money.

Finally, I am not making any money if you sign up with them or not. They are a sponsor of this blog, but our deal is not on a referral basis, meaning that this recommendation is because I really endorse their service quality and not because I want to make to quick bucks.

The code is valid through August and September.

I’m curius which package are you using on Doreo.com for this site?

  • SATISH

I am also using Doreo and they are one of the Best in the industry.

  • Daniel Scocco

@Teh Theng, I used all the plans, since I own websites of all sizes. DBT was on the SH-C. Now I am on a special arrangement with them.

  • Melvin

wow… i am seeing some sites recommending it so i think i would give it a try…

  • Frank

@Teh Theng Heng, for bloggers most use the SH-A (our smallest) plan. Unless you have a blog that is really popular that plan has plenty of disk and bandwidth.

Thanks guys. I would definitely give it a try later on!

Thanks for letting us know about the special offer. Do you know if they have Windows hosting as well ?

  • Daniel Scocco

@Tal, Doreo is just Linux based hosting. Why on earth would you want Windows hosting though :)?

  • Frank

    @Tal,

We offer Windows via a different brand. If your are interested feel free to contact Doreo sales and we’ll get you going in the right direction. The special, however, does not apply to Windows based accounts.

    Awesome Doreo,
When I had a trouble in Sign-up, Doreo is right there to support me without my question in just less than 5 minutes.
I’m so happy with Doreo’s Support though not using yet.

I’ve moved to Doreo after reading Daniel’s recommendation, and I have to say that his observations are spot on.

I’ve had less than half an hour of downtime in the past 5 months I have been with Doreo. Speed is amazing, and I have survived a Digg without any caching (caching plugins sometimes messes up stuff, so I don’t use them).

One point you forgot, Daniel, is that they have very friendly chat support. 🙂
