Got One Second for a Vote?
Last week I wrote about the contest that the guys from CellPhones.org are running, called Blogger Appreciation Awards. Looks like I made it to the final, along with 29 other bloggers.
The voting session to declare the winners is now open, and it will last until March 17. You don’t need to register or anything to vote. Just click on this link, select the blogger that you think deserves to win, and then click on “vote.” That is it.
Sure I would appreciate if you can vote for me, but feel free to take a look at the other names, and if you think someone else deserves to win, go for it.
I know that those contests are usually just promotional tactics that webmasters use, but it is always fun when your name gets mentioned and where there is some competition going on. Ego bating for the win!

@Mr. I, thanks mate.
Voted for a guy from Brazil
Congrats, Daniel. Thanks for posting that contest here. The thing I wish they’d do differently is to have live links for the names. I have no clue who you are up against. Well, except for Deb Ng.
Not that I am voting for anyone else LOL
Voted yesterday, who is Thomas Peters ?
Just Voted now, I think Thomas peters will have it!

Hi Daniel – I just voted for you. Good luck!
P.S.
If you have 10 secs to do the same – I’m up for a Lonely Planet Travel Blog award in the Best Destination Blog category. You can find the voting link on my site (my site is linked to my name in this comment.) I’d be grateful for your vote! Thank you for your consideration!
I voted for you! Good luck!
it sucks that i didnt reach teh final, i was just up to the semis… anyways i voted you…
thanks for informing, have voted for you
nice site.
Of course, I gave you the nod–you have provided some very good information over the last year.
I was interested, though, that I, as well as some other commenters had to look into who the bloggers wrote for.
I read this blog. I’m not really sure, I’ve ever needed to know your name. I wonder when does your brand replace your identity?
I voted for you Daniel! I’ve really appreciated how your posts have helped me.
@Chaplainandrews, most blogs focus either on the blog brand itself, or on the personal brand of the author.
Mashable.com, for example, has a focus on the website brand, hence many more people know the name Mashable as opposed to Pete Cashmore.
SethGodin.typepad.net, on the other hand, has a focus on the personal brand of the author.
It is just a matter of deciding which one you want to go for. If you go for the first one, it is inevitably that some people will know just your site and not your person.
Congrats on the nomination!
I voted for you. You made me want to blog. Plus your tips are cool.
Thanks everyone for your votes, really appreciated.
@Sheila, I just voted for you too.
