Grab The RSSHow To Get A Logo For Your Site
Many people email me asking in what items they should invest money first for their blogs or websites. I usually reply stating that the domain/hosting package should always be the first priority. Once you have that covered, however, the logo becomes your next priority.
Using a free WordPress theme is not an issue in the beginning, but you should get the logo as soon as possible, because it will increase the credibility of your website and start building your online brand.
And the good news is that getting a professional looking logo is not hard nor expensive these days. There are basically four methods you can use, and I explain them in this article: 4 Ways To Get A Logo For Your Website.
The only method I left out is using a logo maker software or online tool, but that is because I don’t think the results you get here are worth your time or money.

I couldn’t agree more – I’ve tried the online logo making sites and it just isn’t worth it. Instead I use a graphic designer who will custom make me a logo for each of my sites for less than $50.
This one is really great for those bloggers who have enough time to try.
You should give a try to Indian base designer and I am sure you will get the quality work.
This is interesting and I always believed that having a logo is a must and it helps building the credibility and contributes to the success of any business, whether it is company or website or blog.

Those are 4 great options, I’ve used freelance designers from India, eBay designers, Logoworks, and Fiverr.
My favorite logos came from Fiverr, it’s only 5$, however I did pay 4 people to design the same logo, and only one I really like, but that one I liked a lot.
The 2 times I got designers from India, one was great also, the other good but not great.
eBay was horrible, and Logoworks was good, but not good enough for the price.
I think in the end it’s all about what you want, and how good the designer is, it’s not always about price, because not only does the designer need the skills to do it, but he has to understand what you want, and sometimes that’s the hard part.

Worth having a go yourself if you use Photoshop or Fireworks.

It’s so important to get the logo you want, because its the identity of your company and it is what a lot of clients will relate to.
I understand people wanting to keep costs to a minimum, but I wouldn’t go too cheap on what I feel is an important part of your brand identity.

Yep.. Website templated logo never worked for me.. Chip in some money and get your own custom designed logo : Afterall remember everyone remembers you by ur name.. so as your website by its Logo !!

Instead of hiring someone else to design your logo you can yourself create a very remarkable logo for your blog, if you have some knowledge of Photoshop 7.0

After all we want a new and fresh look.
I use Photoshop for making logos, I downloaded brushes that I can maybe use. What do you think is better, a logo making software which I will be new with or just Photoshop?
So you have created your logo yourself. How much time you have investrd in making such logo.
This is a creative skill and differ from people to people. So for that reason instead of giving to one designer start a competition in big forum and i am sure you will get the satisfactory output.
time is factor here. Who is going to invest that much time. Instead of that i would prefer to hire someone and will invest my time in expanding my blog.
yes logo and tag line is quite important to set your brand. All big comapnies known for their logo and tagline
this option is for those people who do not photoshop or corel draw. If you are not good at anything than you should outsource such task to the expert to get maximum result.
i always believe that you should concentrate on those field in which you are expert. So that you can improve yourself.
So if you know ps than go for it otherwise people are always there for you.
