I agree that these are good ideas but you would need to have a few thousand subscribing to your feed for this to work. However, totally agree that video is the way forward and as soon as a cheap, commercially viable application comes along to aid video production, then I will definately be video blogging as much as normal blogging.

You can even get software that will turn an article ( yours or someone else’s ) into a video and that gives you a whole new content submission avenue. Plus you can embed a hyperlink within the video itself ( very cool )
