I read both books and websites extensively and can say that without a doubt, I’ve learned much more from books than I have from the internet. However, there are some cases where information changes so quickly that most books are out of date and the internet is a more valuable resource. Internet marketing is a good example. I think it’s possible to be successful without books, but I also think that anyone who neglects to read books is seriously limiting their potential. So yes I think books are still necessary as another research option.
