Thats good advice – nothing puts me off more than bad grammar poor spelling – it just reflects badly on the author. That said I can’t spell myself

Haha…Pablo, that’s the point isn’t it? That’s why a vast majority of people hate taking English Composition courses…because in the end, you can only make grammar and punctuation study so much fun….

I use “The Elements of Grammar” and “The Elements of Style” as my two desktop guides for grammar & punctuation refreshers. Regardless, in the end, I leave the heavy editorial work, well…to my editor. But as a writer it is imperative that [we] learn to critique our own work just as we work to refine our copy content. It sure makes it easier to revise and polish a manuscript later!

Great! I was actually looking for a good English grammar book, but there were all either very basic or too boring. ;P
