Need a Domain for Your Next Project? Check Out CompanyName.com
Whenever you start brainstorming about a project, probably the first thing you will try to nail down is the domain name, as it will affect all other aspects of the project.
If you have been through this, you know how cumbersome and time-consuming it can be to find a catchy and brandable domain name, especially one that you can buy right away for a reasonable price.
One option you have is to send emails to the owners of the domains you are interested in. Most of the time you will not hear back, and when you do the asking price will probably be incredibly high.
Recently I came across a service that might help you in this regard. It’s called CompanyName.com, and it’s a marketplace of premium and brandable domain names. They created the service exactly for people who are starting a new project or business.
Here are some of the domains you’ll find there. They have both generic domains:
as well as brandable ones:
Some of the prices are shown directly on the website. For other domains you will need to inquire. Either way once you identify a domain you like the process of buying it is straight forward, and you should be able to have the domain within a couple of business days.
The next time you are starting a new project or business, remember to visit their marketplace first!

I agree. In every project, the domain name is always important and the most difficult to generate. Thank you for sharing some wonderful ideas. Will go through the lists.

As Bill Gates told us in his speed: Domains will be a good investment.
You can create a strong brand out of it, but there is always work involved

Brandable like IodineCloud? Really. Does this mean I’ve already missed out on SodiumDust.com and ArgonHail.com?
SavingBolt would be a pretty awesome vanity purchase for whoever owns SavingNut, though.

Getting a good domain name is indeed hard-work and if there is one place which can give you all, then nothing like it.
