Test Your Blogging Addiction

Posting, reading, commenting… to many of us, blogging is more than a lifestyle; it’s an addiction. But just how addicted are you compared to everyone else?

According to this test, I’m 70%, although I think it should be a bit higher (the “How many blogs do you read daily?” question doesn’t have a “more than 50″ option…). Still, it’s nice to know how I compare.

The test even gives you a little snippet of code to share your level of blogging addiction with others if you’re so inclined. At the very least, it’s a nice way to pass a day of blogger’s block.

As with any other addiction, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. So level with us; how addicted are you to blogging?

I’m here from another blog, and your blog got it from another blog, and THAT blog got it from another blog! :)
I’m 63%. Should I be proud that I’m not 100% addicted, or in shame because I’m not?

  16. Arizona Hiker on June 30, 2007 9:31 pm

  17. Beth on July 1, 2007 12:45 pm

    87%. That’s an A, right?

  18. Hazel on July 16, 2007 10:09 am

only 47% addiction here but why does the “how many do you read?” stop at 20? I’ve got more than 20 just in my government press releases category let alone all the journal e-content lists that arrive by RSS rather than email these days.

I’m proud to say that I have 0% addiction and that I don’t have a facebook or myspace (funny how it’s used as a noun). This site was very helpful in me getting into the minds of bloggers, this is all so interesting, I don’t understand it, simply cause I’d rather be mountain climbing but I do think it’s eerie that people are more than willing to invite an entire world into their most private and sacred moments – if there is such a thing as that, maybe in this techno-driven generation, people are aiming for the exact opposite of privacy. I recommend Andrew Sheen’s “The Cult of the Amateur” and Jean Baudrillard’s “America.”

Eeeek…. Just scored an 81%… Am I addicted? The last thing I need is my wife to see that and I’m toast ! :)

    Cheers,
